Coolidge was recently named home to the new manufacturing facility for Nikola Motor. The over 400 acre property will soon be transformed into one of the world's first hydrogen-battery vehicle manufacturing facilities producing various power sports and semi-trucks.
Nikola Motors showcased their vehicle lineup at Nikola World 2019. Mayor Jon Thompson, Vice-Mayor Jacque Hendrie-Henry, City Manager Rick Miller and Development Services Director Gilbert Lopez attended the 2 day event in Scottsdale.
Over 4,000 guests were in attendance along with Arizona Governor Doug Ducey. Nikola Motor has currently more than 13,000 trucks on order.
